Perfect location, and Boston located not that far away.
Conveniently located. Staff very nice
The indoor pool does not look inviting. Some room equipment not functional
Everything was clean and very comfortable. Genesis was very nice and informative. Helped setup my rewards.
Everything was great.
Value was excellent. Location was also good. Neighboring amenities were helpful. Access to major routes was a plus.
Some people were very nice, others were less so. I asked for a wake up call that I never got. Came in at 11pm and there were no parking places because there were buses, trailers and other guests using multiple spaces. The breakfast room was mobbed--no place to sit and jockeying for food and utensils. Not a lot of the staff seemed very happy. Couldn't turn TV captions on--which I need. Wish room had liquid half 'n' half instead of dry cream. Not enough electrical outlets (same problem in most hotels)
The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was good and the staff there were excellent.
The breakfast room was kept clean by an attendant.
The room was very very small-the A/C was very loud --The breakfast was mediocre. The breakfast room was kept clean. The breakfast food was fair not a place that I will return.
No drinking water in vending machines.
It was quiet and room well supplied
bed a little soft for me
The Room was clean and love the bathroom
Was surprised by the taxes and couldn't get on the wifi and the switch didn't work on the lamp
I am a very picky, demanding traveler, everything i asked for, this hotel accommodated with no hesitations. The breakfast was awesome. The beds were extremely comfortable. I am planning on staying here again if in the area.
I will stay there again
Toilets in room for men to low touch the water @times while sitting
It was good for the price I paid.
Booking. Com assure me that they would not go into my credit card till I was there. The approved my card one day before I was there. And also said that I had till 4:00pm to cancel or they would charge my card, but nevertheless they went into my card the day before. Not a very good thing to do, say something and then do something else.
Smell of cigarette smoke in hallways and room all night long. Room mini-fridge did not work.
location, walking distance to drugstore, market, dinner options, coffee shop, etc.
hallway musty smell
We reserved a room with two queen beds for 4 adults on Sept. 13, 2014 for Oct. 11, 2014 at the Best Western Merrimack Valley. We were shopping in Merrimack until 8pm when called the hotel to confirm our reservation. A women informed me that we had a room with one queen bed and one sofa bed (thinking it would be a normal - double bed size sofa bed)... So I asked if we could get switched to get two queens since we paid 152.00$ for.. and she said it was not possible since the hotel was fully booked. At this point, we are tired and hungry. So, we went for supper and drove to the hotel. We get to the hotel around 10:15pm to check-in. Cody at the front desk (who was very polite and empathetic towards our situation) informed us of the situation again, that we had one queen bed with a sofa bed, we complained about the rate staying the same since we didn't get the room we booked, so he said we needed to talk to Val Robichaud or Angela Gilkes to lower the rate. He also informed us that the nearest available hotel to accommodate us would be in Bangor.. 3h away. Again, we are tired and just want to go to bed since we have another big shopping day in the morning. We get to our room, and realize that the "sofa bed" was the size of a Toddler bed and we are expected to sleep 2 adults on this bed. Unacceptable. So we return to the front desk and finally they go to the storage room and found us a double bed mattress to put on the floor. The next morning, we ask to speak to the lovely Angela Gilkes! No customer service skills what so ever. I have never been treated with no respect like that by a Hotel Manager in my life. She was defensive, unapologetic, kept interrupting us, raised her voice and did not seem the least bit sorry for the inconvenience. She offered to lower the rate by 30$. Unacceptable. We had to argue with her to have the rate lowered to 85$ which I still think is too much considering the experience we got and service received.
